Saints student-athletes earn NJCAA All- American Awards

LIBERAL, Kan.- The NJCAA announced the All academic team and Seward County Community College has 38 student-athletes honored with their success in the classroom. With an abrupt change in the spring semester, the Saints adapted and continued their success.
Three Saints invited to the 2020 All-American JUCO Showcase

LIBERAL, Kan.- Seward County Community College men’s basketball team will be represented in Atlanta Georgia for the 2020 All-American JUCO Showcase. Ahmed Ibrahim, Bee McCrary, and Surakata Jawara have been invited to the showcase that features the top 160 JUCO student-athletes entering their sophomore seasons.
Spring 2020 Athletic Director's Honor Roll

LIBERAL, Kan.- The Seward County Community College Athletic Department is proud to announce the Spring 2020 Athletic Director’s Honor Roll. To qualify, student-athletes must have a 3.0 GPA or higher in non-remedial courses and have successfully completed 12 or more credit hours for the semester.
Lady Saints hire NJCAA Coach of the Year Todd Ciochetto to lead Women's Basketball Program.

LIBERAL, Kan.- This past season Ciochetto led NIACC to a 32-1 record, region XI championship, and a number one seed at the NJCAA Division II national tournament. With this success, he was honored as the Division II National Coach of the Year by both the NJCAA and World Exposure Report, also being recognized by Region XII, District, and ICCAC with Coach of the Year honors.

Josh Abbott Band Concert postponed

LIBERAL, Kan.- The Josh Abbot Band Concert that was originally scheduled for April 10th has been postponed due to the recent development of the COVID-19 virus. This event will be rescheduled and will be announced at a later date. All of the tickets and tables purchased for this event will remain valid for the rescheduled event.
NJCAA cancels spring athletic seasons and National Tournaments

The NJCAA has announced the cancelation of the spring athletic season and basketball national tournaments. This includes practices, regular season, postseason and national tournaments for all of the athletic programs effective immediately. For student-athletes participating in the spring of 2020 will not be charged a year of eligibility.
NJCAA Basketball National Tournament Postponed

Basketball National Tournaments has been postponed with a tentative date rescheduled for April 20th.
KJCCC suspends all regular season competition through April 1st

Based on the latest developments and continued spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference, with support from the Presidents Council, announces the suspension of all regular-season competition for all teams, effective Friday, March 13 through April 1st. Saints honor Fall sports success and look towards Homecoming

LIBERAL, Kan.- During halftime of the Seward County Community College, men’s basketball against Northwest Kansas Technical College the Saints athletic department honored the fall sports success. The banners that will be in the Greenhouse were presented to the 2019 Lady Saints Volleyball, Men’s Tennis players Gabe Ortiz, Sander Jans, and Karl Wurth also recognized.
